December 29th Draycote Water

Very strong winds and choppy waters made viewing difficult this morning and eventually found the Lesser Scaup first winter male and Smew male tucked up against the shore in gray's barn, toft bay underneath the willows. Rock Pipit flew over hensborough bank calling, Sixteen Goosander and two Kingfisher. There was a report of a Black-necked Grebe in toft but I failed to locate it.
