November 27th Draycote Water

Found a duck in toft bay this afternoon resembling a first winter male "lesser scaup" but have not rule the possibility of it being a hybrid. Poor weather conditions did not help in clinching the key features even with the help of Tim Marlow who came down with his library. Keep an eye out for it tomorrow if your going.

Also present were Goosander 23, Siskin 20+, Ruddy Duck 4, and Gadwall 32.
First winter Caspian Gull just off the sailing club.
Barn Owl flew across the fields between Halfway Lane and Dunchurch towards the M45
